  1. Free radicals: these unstable molecules cause wrinkles by breaking down skin cells
  2. Collagen loss: collagen is important in keeping the skin elastic and plump
  3. Sun exposure: UV rays can speed up the aging process
  4. Smoking: smoking narrows the blood vessels in the face and can damage collagen

Anti Wrinkle Cream

  1. Retinol: This ingredient has been used to treat wrinkles for many years. Retinol is sometimes viewed as a deep wrinkle cream since it is absorbed below the top layer of the skin. Retinol comes from Vitamin A which is one of the more important vitamins in terms of the appearance of our skin. Retinol is an antioxidant and is thought to work be neutralizing free radicals in the environment. Note: avoid products containing this ingredient if you are pregnant
  2. Hydroxy acids: This category includes a number of different types of acids: alpha, beta, and poly hydroxyl acids. All of these acids work through exfoliation. That is, they shed the outer layer if the skin which reveals fresh and new skin underneath. One of the more common hydroxy acids in use for wrinkle reduction is glycolic acid.
  3. L-ascorbic acid - Vitamin C: Vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid is a great product for the overall skin appearance and the treatment of wrinkles. In fact, this ingredient has scientific data backing up its effectiveness in keeping skin looking and feeling great. Vitamin C is thought to work by neutralizing free radicals and stimulating collagen production.
  4. Copper Peptides: Copper peptides can also be found in anti wrinkle cream. Copper peptides were initially discovered for their benefits to wound healing, but more recently have begun to be used as an anti wrinkle agent. They are particularly effective when used in combination with a product that irritates the surface of the skin since the copper peptides help repair the skin during this process.
  5. Kinetin: It is not completely understood how this ingredient works, but it seems to really work in anti wrinkle cream in improving wrinkles. It also appears to help the skin retain moisture and with uneven pigmentation which is an added bonus.
  6. Coenzyme Q10: This ingredient is great because it appears to reduce wrinkles without and major side effects or skin irritation. This ingredient is non-irritating so it should be safe to use around the eye area. In addition, it may help protect the skin from sun exposure.
  7. Tea Extracts: There are a number of different extracts that help with neutralizing free radicals, but green tea extract is the one most commonly found in wrinkle cream. Tea extracts are also anti-inflammatory which means that they soothe the skin – an added bonus.

Prices

Wrinkle cream can vary in price from a few dollars a bottle to a few hundred dollars a bottle. It is important to know that the more expensive products are not necessarily the most effective ones. You should not rely on price when deciding what to buy because it is possible for a relatively cheap product to be effective and for an expensive product to be ineffective. The most important deciding factor for which product to buy should be the ingredients it has and the reviews other customers gave about the product. Once you have narrowed down you price range, desired list of ingredients, and skin care needs (e.g., oil-free, moisturizing, etc.) you should be able to find a small group of products that meet your criteria. Once you have this list, research each of them to find out what other people think.

Eye Wrinkle Cream

There are a few special considerations that you should keep in mind when looking for an anti eye wrinkle cream. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the skin around our eyes in much more sensitive than the rest of our face. This means that many of the products that are safe to use on the rest of our face are not safe for the eye area. The best strategy in deciding if the product you are going to use on you face is safe for your eyes is to look at the ingredients. Stay away from products with any type of acid or parabens. You can also look up any ingredients you don’t recognize online.
